MET
In 2023, I was hired at AOT to join the Modern Engagement Tool (MET) project, initially taking on a User Research role, which involved conducting interviews and executing user testing. As the project progressed, I collaborated closely with the development team on various UI tasks. Throughout our work, we consistently maintained a lead of 2 sprints in Zenhub.
Within the project, we utilized Forms.io on the MET platform. My responsibilities included prototyping in Adobe XD to assess feasibility within Forms.io. Despite encountering numerous obstacles, we navigated them effectively to accomplish our objectives.
The mayor of View Royal, Sid Tobias served as the project owner, and we routinely convened in our daily scrum meetings to connect. Additionally, we organized monthly demos with members of the Environmental Assessments Office, Ministry of Citizen Services, and Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Low Carbon Innovation to showcase the team's progress to investors.

User Interviews
I organized and conducted 20 interviews for four different sessions with diverse users, providing rich data that helped elevate our understanding of the application’s trajectory. While some of the feedback addressed technical issues—readily addressable by our development team—suggestions emerged and were well-received by colleagues.
For example, one user highlighted the need for more insightful information on goals achieved, critiquing the existing EA step guide as overly systematic and uninspiring. Motivated by this input, I designed a milestone widget allowing super users to input detailed updates on specific project milestones, offering users a clearer view of past accomplishments, current project status, and enhancing user engagement with more meaningful content.
